This product arrived damaged the first time around. The footboard had several dents. I could tell the manufacturer, Fashion Group Ltd. could improve on shipping materials to keep the bed frame from being dinged around because there was nothing to seperate the headboard and footboard and there were very thick heavy duty plastic straps with large knuckles on them that could cause the dents and dings. Hayneedle however, credited my account and then replaced ASAP without any problems at all and shipment was quick both times. While putting the bed togther there are many small parts to assemble the platform of the bed. I would say 20% were a combination of already broken pieces or did break on contact, however we were able to put the bed together with out any worries of the bed's capability to support weight. The assembly took about an hour and a half with two people.
I love the look, it's better in person, it's very modern, hip and stylish and was a great decision for us. It made our room look very up to date and inviting. I would recommend to all, but carefully inspect product as our second shipment had a small dent on headboard frame however, because it faces the wall, I was o.k. with it.
